About Physiotherapy
What can I expect during my first appointment?
Your first visit is an opportunity to understand your story, evaluate how your body moves, and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals. The assessment includes a detailed discussion of your symptoms, medical history, previous injuries, lifestyle, and movement goals, followed by a comprehensive biomechanical assessment.
Do you treat more than one concern during the same appointment?
Yes. Because different areas of the body often influence one another, I take a comprehensive approach and consider all relevant concerns together rather than focusing on one symptom in isolation.
How many treatments will I need?
The number of treatments varies depending on your condition, goals, and stage of recovery. Following your assessment, we will discuss a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs.
What makes your approach different?
I combine 12 years of private practice experience with detailed biomechanical assessment and a whole-body approach. By understanding your history, previous injuries, and movement patterns, treatment is individualized to help you better understand your body and confidently return to the activities that matter most to you.
Conditions & Services
What conditions do you treat?
I work with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including neck, back, shoulder, hip, knee, foot and ankle pain, persistent pain, sports injuries, pelvic health concerns, pregnancy and postpartum conditions, and movement-related injuries.
Do you treat chronic or persistent pain?
Yes. I have extensive experience working with people living with persistent pain and complex presentations. My approach focuses on understanding your story, movement patterns, previous injuries, and the factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.
What is dry needling?
Dry needling is one of the many tools I use to help release muscle tension and restore movement where the body has become restricted or developed compensatory movement patterns. It is always guided by a detailed assessment and used as part of a personalized treatment plan.
What is pelvic health physiotherapy?
Pelvic health physiotherapy helps assess and treat concerns related to the pelvic floor, bladder, bowel, sexual health, pregnancy, and postpartum recovery. Treatment is tailored to your individual needs and integrated into a whole-body approach.
Do you offer pregnancy and postpartum physiotherapy?
Yes. I work with individuals throughout pregnancy and postpartum recovery, helping address pain, movement concerns, pelvic floor dysfunction, birth preparation, return to exercise, and recovery after delivery.
Do you work with athletes?
Yes. I work with recreational and competitive athletes across a variety of sports, including runners, climbers, field and court athletes, and dancers. Treatment includes assessment of sport-specific movement patterns to support performance, recovery, and injury prevention.
Virtual Appointments
Can virtual appointments be effective?
Yes. Virtual sessions can be highly effective for education, movement assessment, exercise prescription, self-management strategies, and follow-up care. They are a convenient option for those unable to attend in person.
